Barbara has been a lifesaver for me in so many ways. Her ability to tune into the invisible forces which surround us has been invaluable, especially when a very important decision needs to be made.  Barbara is very careful to honor the autonomy of the people she works with and never inserts herself into decisions. I have been fortunate to be able to call upon Barbara for insight and guidance for over 30 years. I am particularly grateful for her help when my elderly mother was hospitalized and I was getting a lot of pressure from other people to not try so hard to get her well enough to able to go home so she could die in the warmth of her own home, surrounded by her loved ones, especially her little dog—which was her wish. My mother was in the hospital for several months and had gotten to the point that it was hard for her to communicate.
